FARM and RANCH BROKERS of MONTANA
The organization known as Farm and Ranch Brokers of Montana has been in existence since the early 1950s.
The purpose for creating the organization
was to establish a network of Realtors with specific expertise in agricultural, livestock and grazing properties. This network allows these Realtors to distribute their listings to other members, for the benefit of the sellers they represent, and provides access to other member listings for the benefit of the buyers they represent, as well.
FRBM has two central locations: Billings and Bozeman
There are approximately 150 members between the two locations. Though the membership is composed mostly of Realtors, various banking and financial specialists and appraisers are also among its members.
All of the FRBM Realtors are licensed in Montana,
though many also hold real estate licenses in surrounding states, such as Wyoming, North Dakota and Idaho. FRBM also works closely with state lawmakers in writing legislation regarding farm and ranch property rights and other related issues.
